In Liberian culture, food is more than just nourishment — it's a symbol of love, respect, and hospitality. You can’t visit a Liberian home without being offered a meal or something to drink. To refuse is more than impolite — it can feel like rejecting someone’s heart, especially when that meal might be their last, shared out of pure generosity.

Join us for “The Last Meal”, a special celebration honoring Liberia’s 187th year as a democracy. This four-course dining experience is a tribute to the flavors, spices, stories, and soul of Liberia — a country whose roots run deep and whose history connects profoundly to Virginia, home of Liberia’s first president from Petersburg, VA.

Every dish will be available in both vegan and gluten-free options, carefully crafted to reflect Liberia’s culinary richness. Each course will be paired with either a curated wine or a signature non-alcoholic cocktail — perfect for our non-drinking guests.

This dinner is not only a celebration of my homeland and her rich rice culture but also a moment to thank everyone who has supported Elegant Cuizines over the past three years. Big changes are on the horizon, and I want you to be part of what’s next.
